Indian Railways to Showcase Sporting History On Board
From India’s first Olympic gold winning hockey team in 1928 to boxer Vijender Singh’s bronze in the 2008 Beijing Games, Indian Railways is all set to showcase its sporting history in a photo exhibition on board a special train to promote Commonwealth Games across the nation. The exhibition, curated and donated by noted sports filmmaker and author Sunil Yash Kalra, will be on in five bogies of the special train which will criss cross the country along the route of Queen’s Baton Relay that would enter India on June 25 from Pakistan at the Wagah border.
