Now Babus Say that CVC report Downgraded their Morale: Think this before Doing Scams

After Commonwealth Games-related projects came under Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) scanner, the umbrella organization of engineers appealed to government agencies, including its watchdog, not to ‘‘demoralize’’ them at this crucial juncture.

The Confederation of Central Engineering Services (CCES) in a release said the recent CVC report has lowered the morale of engineers and people involved in Commonwealth Games projects.

‘‘This form of attack will only demoralize the workforce when we are working against all odds to complete all projects ahead of the sporting event,’’ association president Sarvagya Kumar Srivastava said.

‘‘The engineers and government officials won’t run away from this city or the country even after the Games. They can be brought to book if they are found guilty. When we and even top government functionaries are aware of this, why are we creating such a fuss now?’’ it asked.

The association said raising such questions now and issuing threats would demoralize people working in these projects.

“Our engineers have the misfortune of being only criticized,’’ the statement issued by the organization stated.
